Why should postdocs participate as a Delegate or Officer?
- Claim a seat at the negotiating table. This is your opportunity to increase the quality of postdoctoral experiences and tackle issues that need solving so that the University can be a leader in postdoctoral training.
- Develop transferable skills. Leadership is a highly sought after quality in job candidates. Participation in the PDA is a way to demonstrate communication, negotiation, creativity, and problem solving outside of scientific inquiry.
